Team Leader (Front Desk)

The Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care is committed to ensuring that all students are given the opportunity to integrate into all aspects of university life, to develop and to succeed. To support this, we are seeking a motivated, organised and outgoing individual, with exceptional customer service skills, to manage the Nightingale Student Hub reception. This role is intended to transform the running and organisation of our busy office, which will make the day-to-day work of colleagues more efficient, while providing the best service possible to students and staff.

As well as pro-actively promoting a culture of customer service throughout the Nightingale Student Hub, the post holder will provide daily front line support to students, staff and visitors, assisting with a wide range of activities, including staff induction and training, student assignment submissions and collection, timetabling provision, requests for recognition of prior learning, uniform and ID distribution, space and facilities management and other tasks involving logistical support.

The post holder will work collaboratively with Nightingale Student Hub staff to help build a cohesive Hub team and support the development and implementation of integrated working practices and procedures. The post holder will also work in partnership with the Faculty Student Experience Manager and Faculty Education Manager to ensure our practices and procedures deliver the best student experience possible.

The selection process will include a panel interview.

Interviews are scheduled to be held: 14 June 2018.
