System/Network Engineer (SCCM, heavy Network, NIST, VMWare, AD/GPO, WinServ2012) needed for a 12+ month contract opportunity with State of South Carolina located in Columbia, SC

MUST BE LOCAL TO COLUMBIA, SC

• Corp-to-Corp (C2C) Consultants MUST apply directly with their direct contact information (Not their Employers).

• Applicants MUST be comfortable working contracts without benefits
• Applicants MUST be comfortable working 30-38 hours per week
• Applicants MUST be comfortable with on-site/in-person interviews
• Contracts, at times, may extend after term completes, but generally not guaranteed.
• Candidates outside the area, if considered, MUST relocate at their expense (including interview expenses)

Rate Range: $50.00 to $60.00/hr., open to discuss

Rates are determined by any of the following:

• Relevant years of experience (see job details below)
• Standard and Competitive Marketplace
• Advance education and degrees (i.e. BS/BA, Information Systems, Engineering, etc.)
• Relevant certifications (i.e. PMP, ITIL, MCSE, CISSP, CEH, etc.)
• W2 or C2C/1099
• Rates are All-Inclusive. Per Diem is not available

Here’s the Big Picture:

• We are seeking a System/Network Engineer with hands-on extensive experience networking (LAN/WAN) and SCCM/SMS are critical

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting the current team with the following:

• Solid SCCM/SSM and Networking experience
• Cisco Certifications
• Active Directory/Group Policy
• Virtualization (VMWare) and Storage (NAS/SAN)
• Change Management
• Windows Server 2012 R2
• NIST

Skills You’ll Need or Should Already Have?

• Minimum 5-7+ years with System/Network Engineer
• Minimum 1-2+ years working in Public Sector or State/Local government
• Expert hands-on knowledge of a wide-array of technologies such as: SCCM/SMS, LAN/WAN, VMWare/Virtualization, Storage, Windows Servers, NIST, Change Management
• BS/BA/MS College/Degree
• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP or any Cisco; MCP, MCSE or any Microsoft etc.
