System Implementation Specialist

Our headquarters is located in San Francisco, CA. We have two warehouses, one located in South San Francisco, CA and the other in Harrisburg PA.

We are looking for an Implementation Specialist to manage and help launch our new PVX (peoplevox) WMS. http://www.peoplevox.co.uk/

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee WMS configuration
• Gather and document business requirements.
• Review and assess site/customer specific requirements vs. standard processes to ensure consistency across operations.
• Define and document the operational processes
• Develop and maintain the test plan and scenarios.
• Assist in facility preparation and identify potential operational changes associated with WMS installation/conversion.
• Assess “go-live” preparedness.
• Work closely with the cross-functional implementation team consisting of PeopleVox (PVX) PM, Grove IT and Grove Ops.
• Lead UAT test cycle in collaboration with IT and site operations. Test WMS functions, reports, KPIs, labels and billing outputs.
• Support training efforts in collaboration with training.
• Help build and maintain operational portions of the project plan working closely with the Operations team. Provide inputs as needed.
• Report issues accurately and timely. Work closely with IT and Ops to provide inputs to issues list, and participate in periodic issue review meetings. * Support live installs. Key functions include:
• First lines of WMS support for site operations across functions such as inbound, outbound, inventory control, reporting and billing.
• Report any technical issues to PeopleVox(PVX) IT, Grove Ops and IT. Track and resolve issue working closely with assigned PVX resources. Escalate critical issues based on operational impact to operational and PVX leadership.
• Gather requirements for any WMS functional and technical enhancements as requested by site operations. Work closely with assigned OPS and PVX resources to configure, develop, test, train and deploy these enhancements.

Requirements:

• Degree – BA / BS
• 7+ years warehouse system (WMS) experience minimum across inbound, outbound and inventory control, and related reporting and KPIs, yard management and warehouse billing functions.
• 8+ years of operations distribution domain experience in Retail and / or E-commerce experience.
• MA WMOS, YMS, BM or SCI reporting experience strongly preferred.
• Understanding of SQL and Oracle preferred but not required.
• MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Access.
• Frequent exposure to warehouse conditions and temperatures.
• Physical labor requirements include ability to lift and install PC and network equipment.
