The IT department at the Office of Physical Plant is looking for a summer only student to work in the OPP ITS Helpdesk. This position will be responsible for answering Helpdesk calls, troubleshooting problems and escalating issues not immediately resolved. The successful candidate will also setup and configure new computers and laptops using IBM BigFix build process; install and configure specialized software, uninstall out-of-date software and troubleshoot issues pertaining to PSU wireless on IOS devices and laptops, resolve connectivity issues and assist with virtual computing issues and setups. This position will assist in supporting over 900 computers and 200 mobile devices to include assisting with any large-scale project such as replacing desktops throughout OPP units and shops. Knowledge of Windows 7, 8.1, and 10, mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android), and problem solving skills are preferred.
