Staff Analyst

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Operational Excellence Office is seeking a Staff Analyst to join our team. The position will also require frequent, recurring onsite support to our Everett based team therefore some local travel will be required. This role is important to ensure inter-organizational integration as well as well-coordinated partnership alignment with our Business Partners. The ideal candidate is a leader who is a quick learner, detail orientated and customer focused. They possess a desire to learn about lean methodologies, production-based transformation activities and partner with team members to make improvements that improve safety, efficiency and add value.


POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Developing and assessing the overall meeting/review architecture, advising our leadership on relevant content and review. You will also be responsible for developing innovative processes to streamline and improve overall the management information system as well as evaluating organizational administrative issues, identifies options and recommends solutions. Leading the design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events. Partner with Business Operations to ensure alignment and integration with strategies and initiatives. Interface with Boeing executives and senior leaders in a multitude of capacities.
  • Meeting with organization leaders on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives. Analyzes trends and forecasts and make recommendations for long-range planning. Creates sensitive reports, audit responses, budget and capital planning metrics for management review. Tracks performance to plan.
  • Leading the design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events. Designs, develops and deploys employee-related activities and initiatives. Sets direction for organizational implementation. Leads the planning and coordination of organizational facility requirements. Interfaces and negotiates with focal points on consolidations, reductions, new business requirements, reorganization and employees.
  • Providing ongoing support to team on research, planning and coordination of projects and initiatives. Leads the development and maintenance of the project schedule and budget. Monitors execution of the plan and communicates status to all project participants.
  • Leading the assessment, maintenance and tracking of training requirements and develops training plans. Deploys training, coordinates logistics and ensure delivery to employees. Assesses, maintains and tracks training requirements and develops training plans based on skill assessments and organizational objectives. Deploys training, coordinates logistics and verifies delivery to employees.

This position is located in Renton, WA and does not offer relocation assistance. Applicants must reside in area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.


This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Microsoft tools.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Min. 5 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.
  • Utilization of management system tools and techniques


Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
