Boeing Supply Chain Operations has an exciting opportunity to join the structures team managing supplier performance. As part of the Supply Chain Operations team, you will manage and measure supplier delivery and quality performance to protect the health of the Boeing production system. You will ensure factory, customer, and program requirements are met. Travel is required on an as-needed basis. This position is located in Everett, WA.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain relationships/communication with suppliers, supplier program management, and the Boeing factory.
Lead supplier capability, capacity and risk assessments. Identify and mitigate program, customer, and factory risks.

Leverage opportunities to enhance supplier performance.
Provide direction to suppliers to improve performance.
Leads supplier performance reviews.
Communicates performance to plan.
Manage and monitor supplier quality and delivery to drive suppliers to zero shortages and abate factory impacts.
Develop mitigation plans to resolve quality and delivery issues that could potentially impact the factory, customers, and the program.
Analyze supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities that lead to reduced costs.

Required:

Bachelor’s degree.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Procurement / Supply Chain experience.
Work experience using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.

Desired:

Internships
Direct experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
Some experience working with suppliers.
Supply Chain experience.
Experience in a team-based environment.
