The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for leading multiple new application development projects along with internal technology enhancements. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for identifying, planning and managing all project milestones. This position supports multiple project deliverables across the entire organization with a heavy focus on secure SDLC process. The Sr. Project Manager will also lead the implementation of project management, change management process improvement that can help our entire organization. This is a professional position for an organized, goal-oriented and strategic thinking team player. Primary responsibilities will be in application development, internal systems support, application/system analysis, design and end-user interaction

What you will be responsible for:

• Act as project manager on application development efforts according to industry best practice as defined by PMI.

• Facilitate the management of change requests and subsequent support activities according the Sign-Zone Change Management Policy and Procedure
• Partner with resource managers to maximize effective use of resources as needed to support project work.
• This position may have some client-facing opportunities but will primarily function behind the scenes to drive the work.
• Ability to blend traditional project management principles and practices with an agile development approach.
• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Sign-Zone Project Management Practice
• Ability to lead and model behaviors for other team members.
• Mentor others regarding best project management practices.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum 5+ years project/program management or project leadership experience demonstrating experience managing and participating in IT projects.

• Ability to prioritize projects and responsibilities

• Must be very detail oriented and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills. Ability to quickly grasp the project objective and deliverables. Can interact with staff at all levels.
• Skilled in managing multi-faceted projects with multiple deliverables running simultaneously.
• Ability to identify, mitigate and manage risks against project schedules and budgets. Can quickly modify plans and reprioritize as circumstances change.
• Ability to lead both onsite and offsite teams through the completion of key deliverables.
• Prior experience leading team members and gaining respect of all while promoting a fun, delivery oriented environment.
• A track record of directing, inspiring, and motivating others to achieve results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proven ability to develop processes and procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
