Job Description:

Raytheon is looking for an experienced, technically minded, Information Systems Technologist, primarily focused on internal IT technologies and services provided by Global Business Services (GBS). This position will support IT provided services, ensuring customer satisfaction is met and analyzing processes to identify opportunities for improved service efficiency. In this role the candidate will be responsible for executing new projects, services, and initiatives targeting collaboration services to start. The candidate will seek out technical solutions and lead multiple projects while collaborating with engineering and operations partners on process improvement, collaboration, automation, networking, and more.

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the following duties, but are not limited to:

· Execute on technical solutions to various business level and Enterprise level projects and initiatives

· Champion IT Operation service improvements leveraging best practices and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Six Sigma)

· Partner with IDS and the Enterprise on end to end service design, transition, and readiness

· Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders through steering committees to understand business needs, technical requirements and priorities

· Ensures project / program tasks are completed as scheduled and report results as required

· Partner with internal and external organizations to identify business requirements

· Work closely with program teams to ensure business requirements are incorporated into the design

· Be an advocate for the end user experience and search for creative ways to elevate the capabilities of technology systems to meet business needs

· Manage deployment of solutions to complex problems

· Identify and describe how business value can be obtained through the implementation of technology, as well as how value has been captured post-deployment

Required Skills:

· 4+ years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering discipline

· 1+ years of project management experience. Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering projects.

· Technical expertise in collaboration technologies or services (As examples: SharePoint, eRoom, Outlook)

· Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

· Strong ability to achieve results in a matrix environment and energize a project team to deliver on time and on budget

Desired Skills:

· Experience working independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

· Experience at interfacing with senior-level leaders

· Industry certifications such as PMP, or ITIL

· Professional experience in two or more of the following areas of computing/network fundamentals: network design, Windows system administration, UNIX system administration, application packaging and scripting, data analysis, or installation and operation of factory IT equipment
