Configuration Analyst I

Bring your experience, talent, and leadership to the RMD Configuration Management (CM) team. Configuration Management is a discipline responsible for product configuration and analysis, and is actively engaged in all phases of program execution from start-up through contract closeout.

This position will support the growing Technical Data Package (TDP) Team.

Responsibilities include:

Create Technical Data Packages (TDP) for the US Government and our allies.

Utilize, enhance, and maintain TDP Web-Based tool for the gathering of TDP documents.

Prepare documentation and conduct program tests, correcting program errors.

Advise on new technologies and project cost estimates.

Develop procedures and operating instructions.

Understand and store procedures in the TDP Web Service

Focus on customer requirements, including deadlines and flexibility.

Partner with IT to resolve issues

Work with less experienced team members to assist in their development.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office

At least 18 months of related experience in configuration management

Proficient in use and administration of Windchill PDM

Desired Skills:

Self-Starter, willing to learn new tools and work with a variety of technical and non-technical disciplines

Ability to proactively interface with team members

Demonstrated ability to support multiple ongoing projects and parallel release activities

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field or equivalent combination of related experience and education (each two years of related experience can substitute for one year of education)
