What you’ll do

As the Business Analyst (Supply Chain), you will own and lead the business analysis in supply chain area. You will work with operations and supply chain business power users to understand their business needs and work with IT team members to come up with technology solutions that meet the business requirements. You will work with the business stakeholders in drafting business case, selecting technology solutions, and implementing systems. This role will be responsible for owning business analysis effort for both projects and ongoing support activities. You will act as a single point of IT contact for the supply chain functions.

  • Partner with key business stakeholders and build strong business partnership
  • Act as trusted IT partner for the operations (supply chain, inventory management, customer service)
  • Understand the needs of multiple stakeholders and able to prioritize and manage expectations
  • Facilitate requirements gathering amongst multiple stakeholders.
  • Document clearly defined business requirements
  • Document current state and future state business processes
  • Help business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future
  • Work with technology team members, consulting vendors and business team members to facilitate user acceptance testing

You have…

  • 10 + years of experience in implementing supply chain processes and systems
  • 10 + years of business analysis skills
  • 5 + years of supply chain implementation experience in one of the industry leading systems – JDE (must), SAP, Oracle preferably in CPG industry
  • Good communication skills, problem solving skills and critical thinking
  • Decision making skills and a team player
  • Very good documentation skills including documentation of process flows
  • Ability to understand current state business processes and work with business to design efficient and effective business processes
  • Ability to build relationship with the business, other IT team members
  • Any process improvement/design certification such as 6-sigma is a plus
