What you’ll do

As a Senior JDE functional analyst, your primary role is to provide system support and to participate in projects involving JDE supply chain and co-manufacturing/3PL system integration. You will act as a JDE system expert, understand business requirements and provide system/technical solutions that meets the business requirements. You will coach other IT members and key business stakeholders on key JDE functions and features and fully utilize JDE in support of supply chain function.

• Configure JD Edwards’s supply chain related modules according to the defined business requirements, develop and execute test plans and scripts to ensure defect free solutions
• Consult and coordinate with other members of the IT department, supply chain business experts, IT infrastructure groups, DBA, server administration to design and develop solutions including automation of business processes
• Develop functional and technical requirements and design for workflows, forms, reports, interfaces, conversions and system enhancements as they relate to JDE applications
• Prepare and maintain all application documentations necessary to support development activities.
• Perform data conversion activities including source data analysis, data cleansing and mapping, data loads and reconciliation
• Keep track of new JDE product development and make recommendations to management
• Research bugs and enhancements in Oracle knowledge base, read white papers and implement recommended solutions
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

• Provide production support for the JDE application and related systems and interfaces and to provide application support for the end users assisting them in effectively using the ERP systems system and handling system related inquiries and formulating enterprise solutions
• Be committed to providing excellent service to customers

• Ensure high customer satisfaction with the use of JD Edwards
• Participate in requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing and hyper-care for ERP enhancements and/or new technology solutions.

You have…

• 5-7 years of experience providing system analysis and production support for a mid to large organization using JD Edwards system 9.1 or above in a multi-company, multi-currency environment
• 5 -7 years of experience working in order management, supply chain, financial management, and procurement management modules as JDE functional analyst
• 3-5 years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or foods and beverages industry
• 2 to 3 years of system integration experience with third party manufacturing and/or 3PL
• Experience with BI publisher and other features of JD Edwards 9.1.
• Experience in configuring JDE processing options for applications and batch jobs, understand JDE Job batches dependencies
• Strong experience with various JDE integration tools: z/files, staging table, BSSV, EDI
• Experience in supporting JDE system in a production environment including trouble shooting issues, performing root cause analysis, come up with work arounds where necessary and fixing the defects
• Advance experience with SQL is a must
• BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering or related fields
