Software Engineer – Front End

THE CHALLENGE
The Nashville engineering team is building the next generation of our organizer facing application. We work with cutting-edge frontend technologies to maintain modularity and scalability in a large-scale front-end architecture. We are apart of the first wave of projects at Eventbrite building component-based applications centered around React/Redux. Also, no other place in TN will you be working to ship software to an audience like ours at this scale. You’ll learn a lot and hopefully you’ll teach us something too.

THE TEAM
At Eventbrite we tackle tough problems. We learn, grow, and have fun in the process. The women and men of Eventbrite’s Engineering team enjoy facing challenges as individuals, but we are also eager to collaborate and share our knowledge. The Nashville engineering team is charged with building our next generation organizer app, and the APIs and services that power it. We perform weekly demos of the code we ship, hone our skills through code reviews, and tell the world about it on Eventbrite’s Engineering Blog. We believe in the value of community and the power of live experiences, and regularly host free events with top technical speakers. Learn more about the team from some of our engineers here .

We hiring someone to help us build elegant, intuitive, and responsive user experiences for desktop, mobile and tablet browsers. You’ll help advance Eventbrite’s frontend architecture, and build components used throughout Eventbrite. We want you to work closely with Product Management, UX, and Design, giving input on what is both intuitive and feasible. You’ll need to bridge the gap now and then working with REST APIs on your own as well as with backend engineers. You’ll be growing your skills by working with some of the strongest engineers in Tennessee, and helping other engineers grow by teaching them.
