Software Engineer

Lentil AI is an early stage startup being incubated at Stanford Research Institute (SRI). Previous SRI companies include Siri, Nuance, Intuitive Surgical amongst others.

Lentil is focused on meeting productivity. Lentil applies deep learning amongst other technologies to Voice, WebRTC and more.

We are early and recently closed our initial funding. It’s still high-risk but it’s a lot of fun and you’ll be joining a team of 4 meaning you are effectively part of Day 0 and definitely pre-launch!

Our team is comprised of mostly former entrepreneurs. Our CEO previously sold Tempo AI to Salesforce. Our Architect sold ImageChef to Cyberlink. We work along-side SRI researchers which includes many of the brightest minds in the areas of voice and machine learning.

Given that we are focused on meeting productivity, being remote is part of our DNA. There is a slight bias for the Bay Area but anywhere in the greater US works! We do have an office at SRI in Menlo Park but we are flexible.

We are seeking one more generalist, mostly back-end software engineer (but with room to dive into whatever you like). We use Python and Java; we deploy on Amazon; we use other common systems such as Kafka, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, React and more.

If you are more junior, this would be an amazing opportunity to learn and experience an early stage startup from the beginning. If you are more senior, this may be the perfect high-risk / high-reward sort-of opportunity for you.
