WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Code42 is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team. We’re looking for people with a passion for world-class software development, who understand the importance of writing maintainable code, comprehensive tests, and collaborating with a team. You will be working on the team that is responsible for the core of our application including the primary server management, system messaging, the API framework, and several key security features.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Developing and maintaining features in our web application
• Designing and implementing the UI, backend APIs and business logic necessary to support new and existing features
• Writing unit tests and working with test automation engineers to produce fully tested solutions
• Shipping robust software for mission-critical problems
• Having fun working with your team and making great products!

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, or can convincingly demonstrate this level of knowledge and skill
• Java or C# experience, solid grasp of OO fundamentals and the ability to write performant code in a complex multi-threaded application
• 2+ years of experience with front-end development for enterprise-class, multi-tier systems and the design patterns upon which they are built, using technologies like HTML5, Typescript, CSS/LESS, ReactJS, Electron
• Experience building web APIs using Jersey/Spring or similar solutions
• Experience with Git or other distributed version control tools
• Experience using SQL or other similar production class databases

WE’LL BE ESPECIALLY IMPRESSED IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

• Large-scale SaaS solutions
• Application profiling and performance
• Application Security
• Native-cloud/microservice architecture
• Cloud environments and services like AWS, Azure, or similar
• Functional programming
• CQRS, Event Sourcing, and DDD experience.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and DevOps
• Experience using NoSQL databases
