Social Media Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a robust editorial calendar for all platforms.
• Create social assets and program daily content.
• Align with Brand and Marketing leads to bring initiatives to life across platforms.
• Stay ahead of social innovation tools and track market competitors.
• Provide weekly and monthly growth metrics and consumer feedback.
• Elevate and manage influencer campaigns and database.

CONTENT STRATEGY• Copy write social media posts and campaign promos.

• Coordinate cross-promotion between partners and Wanderset to maximize social posts.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leads on strategies for social advertising campaigns.
• Analyze content performance across social media to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare new, innovative ways to create programs and present ideas in weekly editorial meetings.

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT • Manage daily audience engagement across all platforms.

• Identify influencer opportunities across all platforms.
• Identify and report issues, patterns and trends in consumer feedback and behavior.
• Escalate issues to appropriate teams as necessary.
• Inform team of emerging social media tips, case studies and innovation tools to maximize engagement.
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting on audience development and engagement.

Requirements:
We are looking for someone with the following skills:

• 3+ years social media production including community outreach and brand advocacy.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Mastery of social media, SEO and metadata best practices.
• Strong quantitative skills; ability to analyze data and provide weekly and monthly reports.
• Hands-on experience using data tools including Chartbeat, Google Analytics, Instagram Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, Snapchat and YouTube.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
