As a Senior Programmatic Trader you’ll be responsible for managing programmatic campaigns for our clients across multiple platforms while continually working to achieve strategic KPIs. You’ll interact with multiple teams, including media planning, analytics & account management, to understand all aspects of client initiatives and provide input and handle execution of programmatic portions of their digital marketing strategies. You’ll immerse yourself in our clients to understand their business to provide best-in-class programmatic solutions focusing on innovation and efficiency. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual, focused yet flexible and able to think analytically and creatively within the programmatic space. This position reports to the Programmatic Director.

Essential Functions:

  • Execute programmatic campaigns from the initial briefing stage through campaign set-up, maintenance, optimizations and final reporting.
  • Ensure the health of your accounts, spending budgets in full, while exceeding client KPIs.
  • Own trades in multiple programmatic consoles with a deep understanding of campaign management and optimization strategy (bid management, tactics, data and audience analysis, etc.).
  • Extract and deliver insightful findings for optimization purposes and client reports.
  • Be a data storyteller, use reports to tell a story to the client about what is and is not working for them, and how to improve.
  • Build and evolve relationships as the primary point of contact with media partners, day to day clients, and internal teams (Media Planning, Account and Analytics).
  • Continually evaluate Programmatic strategies on your respective accounts, identifying testing and account growth opportunities.
  • Use third party vendors to ensure utmost accuracy and quality in all programmatic trading — including anti-fraud partners, viewability partners, Ad Exchanges and more.
  • Work closely with the ad operations and analytics teams for all tagging and reporting requirements.
  • Proactively monitor campaign activity for delivery, ad quality and performance.
  • Be an expert and go-to resource for all programmatic elements from strategy and execution, to DSP platforms, DMP platforms, adtech vendors and more.

Job Requirements:

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in digital advertising; required minimum one year specializing in programmatic trading.
  • Must have deep understanding of working in programmatic platforms (The Trade Desk, DBM and/or Amazon AAP preferred).
  • Passion for digital marketing, programmatic advertising and our clients’ business.
  • An even bigger passion for data, analysis and Excel.
  • Programmatic experience across display, mobile, video, native, Connected TV, audio and more.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
  • A knack for building compelling decks in PowerPoint.
  • Superior communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Proven supervisory skills with leadership abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time; proven ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills; great analytical skills; detail oriented; problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communication, business, or related discipline or equivalent experience necessary; working experience.
  • Agency experience required.
