Senior Pega Developer

The Pega Developer will be responsible for designing and configuring specific portion of the Pega Application. The Developer will need to quickly discern requirements & design–and develop the application in an Agile Fashion. The Developer will leverage his or her knowledge of the Agile Delivery methodology, and how it pertains to developing a Pega-based application. Additionally, the Developer will leverage mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding or configuration standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation. The Developer also may need to mentor other junior members on the team.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S citizen
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred but related degree considered if paired with relevant technical skills
• Minimum 10 years of experience is a must
• 5+ years of experience with Pega software
• Experience in researching, testing, building, and coordinating the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
• Experience in addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
• Experience in consulting with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
• Experience in performing feasibility analysis
• Experience in assisting in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools
• Experience with agile, scrum
• Experience in resolving problems with software and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
• Experience in instructing, assigning, directing, and checking the work of other software developers on development team
• Experience in participating in developing software user manuals
