Information Technology Specialist (entry level)

Position Overview

• Install, Configure, Service, Repair and Maintain:

• IT Systems (stand-alone and server environments)
• Network Services (hardware and software)
• Storage Networking Devices (hardware and software)
• Local and Base Area Networks
• Wireless Hubs, Routers, and Switches * Evaluate and Resolve customer IT problems

Minimum Requirements

• 2 yrs. IT experience
• Active SECRET-level clearance OR US Military Service within last 24 months
• One of the following:
• CompTIA A+ (CE)
• Network+ (CE)
• Security+ (CE)
• SSCP
• CCNA
• GSEC
• SCNP
• One of the following in addition to #3 (Candidates can test for MTA prior to start)
• MTA
• MCTS
• MCSA
• A+
• Network+
• CCNA

Technical Skills (Preferred)

• Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6)
• Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)
• Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
• Virtual Load Area Networks (VLANs)
• Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
• Network Address Translation (NAT)
• Defense Message Systems
• MS Server
