Senior .Net Development Engineer – Full Stack (S)

As a Software Development Engineer in the Global Platform Development organization at GoDaddy, you will join a cross functional team of world-class engineers using the latest development technologies and agile practices to create and support several internal applications and systems. Our outbound communications team and platform at GoDaddy are responsible for all outbound connections with our customers on a daily basis. This includes email, SMS, outbound phone calls, and mobile push notifications.

Responsibilities:
Help design, build and unit-test cutting edge systems that are vital to our international and marketing efforts – essential to our company.

Work on a brand new omni-channel engagement marketing platform, including the migration from current systems.

Support platforms and applications that help contribute over $250 million in annual review via our outbound emails sent to our more than 14 million GoDaddy customers.

Collaborate with other GoDaddy teams of Engineers, Marketing Professionals, Program Managers, and Operations. You will do much more than just write great code.

Leverage industry best practices and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development, testing automation and Continuous Integration and Deployment.

Be a member of our Scrum team where we have two-week sprints, user stories and a product backlog. Everything is managed in JIRA via a Kanban board.

Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Math, or equivalent degree; 5+ years of relevant full-time software engineering experience

Expert level knowledge in .NET, C#, and MS SQL Server. Multiple languages strongly preferred (e.g. Java, JavaScript, C++)

Knowledge in outbound communications such as email, SMS messages, mobile push notifications is preferred

Experience with multiple data platforms is a plus (MS SQL, Hadoop, Cassandra, etc.)

Knowledge of the OpenStack software platform is a plus

Knowledge of various open source technologies is a plus: RabbitMQ, NodeJS, Git

Previous experience with the RedPoint Customer Data platform and/or RedPoint Interaction is a plus

Experience with web application frameworks is a plus (MVC, NodeJS, Angular, etc).

Familiarity or Experience with Agile methods – preferably Scrum and/or Kanban highly preferred

Passion for self-driven, continuous learning both in and out of the office.
