Relevant Experience: 8+ Yrs

Technical/Functional Skills

• At least 7 years’ experience with Mainframe Technology
• 7+ Years of experience in Mainframe technology.
• MUST HAVE VSAM-RRDS, VSAM-KSDS and IMS
• MUST HAVE experience working with DB2, COBOL, CICS.
• Need to have knowledge on ENDEVOR for version control.
• Excellent client interaction, problem solving & communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering software and releasing it quickly, efficiently.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Research, design and develop Mainframe application using the Best practices.
• Participate with team in designing conceptual model and working model and ensure consistency in architecture and design/code practice.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing applications.
• Need to work with customer and understand the existing logics embedded in the VSAM files and document the logic.
• Prepare Test Case and perform n-unit testing s in coordination with Business owners and be able to test the applications before deploying it in production.
