Senior Linux Consultant

Senior Linux Consultant is required for a sought for a global, award winning technology driven financial organisation who have a start-up feel. This is a full-time position, based 40% onsite in Manhattan, NY and 60% working from home.

US Citizens and Green Card holders only please. No H1B/sponsorship is available.

The organization have a very good benefits and training package, working with cutting edge technologies. The position will be dealing with internal customers on a day to day basis and must have strong communication skills along with the hands-on technical ability.

Key Senior Linux Consultant skills:

• Extensive UNIX/Linux experience- administration, engineering and architecture

• Scripting- Python, Perl or Bash

• Storage- NAS, SAN, Raid, Amazon S3 etc.

• Hardware, Software and Networking experience

• Experience working in a High Availability environment

Beneficial Senior Linux Consultant experience:

• Cloud technology experience

• Any ‘DevOps’ type experience- automation, CI/CD etc.

• Working in a customer facing/consultancy position
