Senior Java/J2EE Developer

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Java Developer for our Los Angeles, CA office to make the team even stronger.We are seeking a Senior Java Developer for a full-time opportunity with excellent knowledge/understanding of Java performance tuning including but not limited to garbage collection, code optimization, finding and troubleshooting of bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Java;
• Understanding of GC;
• Performance analysis experience in Java applications;
• Understanding of Java application architecture and ability to analyze and suggest different approaches for analysis of performance bottlenecks;
• Experience with Web-Services (SOAP/REST);
• Spring Framework (or similar) is a must;
• Ability to apply, explain and communicate best practices and design principles;
• Design patterns understanding;
• Hands-on experience in SQL and DB design and best practice principles;
• Good troubleshooting and debugging skills;
• Experience in soft-launch (beta)/go-life activities and support;
• Ability to identify and resolve issues that improve product stability and performance;
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, with a mix of local and remote resources;
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
