Senior Java Developer

At Laurel at Sunset, we are building a professional workflow platform for interior designers which is called 3Dazer. We are seeking a highly-motivated and detail oriented Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop our workflow platform
• Design API contracts that are documented and agreed upon by the team
• Develop and support the RESTful APIs used by our mobile app and web application
• Working with Amazon Web Services, “NoSQL” as well as relational databases

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of Java application development experience
• Object oriented fundamentals (OOA, OOP, OOD) and design patterns
• Strong understanding of HTTP/REST/API architecture
• Hands-on experience building API services
• Solid experience with web application architecture using Java related technologies
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway
• Hands-on experience working with MongoDB, MySQL
• Experience in Agile Methodology
• Capabilities of locating the problems and provide reasonable solutions
• Self-motivated, responsibilities and teamwork
• Scala is big plus
