We are an IT Consulting/Managed Server Provider in Orange County servicing small and medium businesses around the nation. Our business is rapidly growing and we need your talent to help us get to the next level!

We are currently seeking an IT Help Desk and Tier 2 Technician to handle phone calls, emails, initial troubleshooting and ticket escalation. You will report directly to the owners and will work in conjunction with them to resolve all issues in a timely manner. You will work out of our main office in Newport Beach, CA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve technical support issues at various customer locations (remote and on-site)
  • Monitoring of RMM system and ticket creation
  • Working with technical support departments for various vendors (Dell, Lenovo, Meraki, EqualLogic, etc.) to resolve hardware issues and/or warranty work
  • Basic Network Administration (user/mailbox creation, profile configuration, etc.)
  • Making sure customers are happy! This will require you to follow up on closed tickets and to give status updates on open tickets.
  • Off-site travel for installation of rack mounted server/network equipment as well as desktop computers

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP
  • Experience with Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 10 desktops
  • Experience with Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook – all versions!)
  • Clean motor vehicle record and reliable transportation in required
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and navigate small spaces during equipment installs

Desired/Preferred Experience

  • Basic understanding of Windows Server (2003 through 2012), Active Directory, and Exchange (2007-2013)
  • Basic understanding of firewalls (VPN, firewall rules)
  • Certifications (MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, VCP, etc.) are a major plus
  • Group Policy (Printers, logon scripts, security)
  • Experience in WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript also a major plus
  • Understanding of printers/copiers (HP, Ricoh, Canon)

COMPENSATION: $17.00 – $30.00 /hour DOE

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M
