Senior Developer Oracle

This role is responsible for Development, Production Support, Monitoring and Maintenance of the existing Oracle E-Business Suite implementation, enhancements and integrations throughout all project life cycles.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Application of Technical and Functional knowledge to monitor, maintain and support critical system processes within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment
  • Development and performance optimization of mission critical system interfaces
  • Work with cross functional support teams including System Administration, Infrastructure, DBA, QA and Business Development Teams to resolve critical issues in a timely manner
  • Work with outside vendors as needed to validate external system integrations
  • Documentation of solution knowledge and process monitoring techniques for re-use by Development and Support teams
  • Assess and troubleshoot critical errors with existing system integrations and enhancements
  • Participates in 24×7 On-Call Production support rotation provided by the team

Qualifications


Education
:
  • Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
  • 3-5 years experience in implementation, support, consulting or development in Oracle E-Business Suite release R12
  • 1-3 years experience with Oracle PL/SQL Development
  • Strong combination of Functional and Technical expertise with at least one of the following Oracle Modules – GL, AP, PO, INV, OM, FA, PA, HR, WMS, ASCP, APCC, IO
  • Proven ability to effectively execute initiatives in a highly matrixes and decentralized organizational environment
Skills:
  • Exceptional diagnostic ability and skilled in using industry standard tools and techniques to monitor, tune and enhance complex system components to optimize the product to perform to customer expectations
  • Ability to analyze details and troubleshoot from incomplete or ambiguous data
  • Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, BPEL, OAF, Java, Workflow
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Development tools
  • Functional and Technical understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite version R12 with Focus on Financials, HR or Supply Chain modules
  • Experience with 170 Systems MarkView helpful
  • Experience with Supply Chain integrations to Shipping Systems such as Kewill Flagship helpful
  • Experience troubleshooting and performance tuning interfaces and enhancements within the Oracle Applications Environment
  • Familiarity of Oracle Applications Technology Stack
  • Experienced interacting with Oracle Support and Metalink
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills including ability to develop presentations and present to management
  • Ability to meet agreed upon Service Level Agreements(SLA) for incident response times
  • Ability to effectively support initiatives across diverse teams in multiple locations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
