Oracle EBS Financial Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced individual, to work within IT Production Support team for Oracle Financials.
The individual will bring expertise, knowledge and experience to the EBS team as a senior Finance expert with leadership and drive, interfacing with a large number of business users, and other functional business areas.
Working with internal customers and external consultants, the Sr. Application Business Analyst will support and maintain the Core Finance functions within the EBS system to support the existing user base.
This position combines business knowledge and an understanding of the inner-workings and configuration options of Oracle Finance modules (i.e. GL, AR, AP, iExpense, FA, E-Business Tax, and Costing).
Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions to enable organizations to achieve their goals.
This role will facilitate and improve communication between business and technical resources.

Qualifications

Have a high level understanding of the big picture from a global design perspective
Works closely with business functional areas, internal customers, external vendors, in defining and documenting functional requirements and business solution design using MD50, BR10/30, & BR100’s.
Interprets and transforms information based on business requirements and provides the data for delivery team.
Proactively seek opportunities for simplification, application rationalization, and continuous improvement.
Excellent critical thinking skills to help address and resolve business issues.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of users.
Plan and organize tasks, report progress, and manage and coordinate with consultants for implementation of break fix incidents.
Work with existing support teams and back off systems to manage issues and develop enhancement opportunities.
Works with multiple departments to document and validate current state business processes.
Understand and modify the Application Configuration as required (includes system setups, flex-fields, workflow builder, custom library, profile options, etc.).
