Senior Business Analyst

SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

We are in need of someone like you to help support our web and mobile applications in a creative, collaborative environment, with the focus on delivering value to our customers. You will be part of a cross-functional team and responsible for the definition/gathering of business requirements, project implementation, and in the support for web and mobile applications.

More specifically, you will:

• Collaborate with internal and external customers in regards to features and product deliverables, including defining web and mobile priorities and level of effort.
• Work with business owners to develop business cases and financial justifications for web and mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with the UI/UX team and the business teams in the definition of the user experience.
• Work with other support teams to the define business processes required to support web/mobile experiences.
• Perform the role of Product Owner in the Agile Scrum process including the management of the backlog and scrum story prioritization.
• Develop high level sprint plans and communicate progress to stakeholders; as well as, conduct user acceptance tests with stakeholders.
• Investigate production issues and identify probable causes, as well as coordinate the activities and resources necessary to implement the resolution.

Essential Skills

Qualifications/Experience

Required

• BS/BA or equivalent degree
• 5-7 years of software product development experience for a consumer facing product
• Must know product management, ecommerce best practices, software development, process design, user testing, and business requirements definition
• Must have a good understanding of SQL, databases and date models
• Jira a plus
