Basic Purpose:

The Research Associate will work collaboratively with EVIC’s investment team to help evaluate investment opportunities. Individual will pursue diligent research in order to communicate value-added investment insights on individual securities, as well as views on the attractiveness of industries and asset classes.

Primary Responsibilities :

Support the investment team’s daily activities by monitoring existing investments and undertaking research projects

Conduct fundamental equity research

Research new ideas and industries

Interest in incorporating ESG factors as part of a holistic analysis of companies and industries

Attend company and analyst meetings and share highlights with the team

Assist with due diligence and the ongoing monitoring of existing and prospective 3rd party fund investments

Help facilitate weekly investment meetings

Coordinate the production of quarterly investment marketing materials

Support key client relationships by preparing custom investment reporting

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree required

0-3 years of relevant experience and progress towards the CFA are preferred

Demonstrated professional or academic success

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Thrive in team setting. Bounce ideas off others and proactively share your perspective

Ability to synthesize data and articulate findings through excellent presentation skills

Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation

Mastery of Microsoft Office applications – specifically excel

Familiarity with financial data applications – FactSet, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg
