Regional Accountant/Customer Service Manager

If you’re looking to join a growing company led by passionate people committed to being the best, contact us today!The Spirit of the Position: Through direction of the Regional RVPs and Regional Senior Staff Accountant, the Regional Accounting Manager will support the region with the primary responsibility of the accuracy and timeliness in reporting corporate financial information.

Principal Job Duties:

 Serve as primary Accounts Receivable lead for the region and manage Customer Service Team

 Relationship Manager for all Government Accounts

 Co-Lead/SME for annual budget & reforecast process

 Finance champion for location start-up’s and closures

 Coordinating w/ clients and Corporate Accounting on custom or ad hoc reporting requirements

 Assist Office Manager with maintaining customer/client data base for the Region

 Assists in monitoring activity from daily cash reports, and credit card activity

 Assists in monitoring AP coding for location and correct expense category

 Assist with the monthly review of income statement

 Assist with the preparation of the monthly budget to actual analysis of the region

 Maintain ongoing dialogue with Management Accounting counter-part for assigned region to ensure accurate financial reporting of revenues and related expenses

 Additional projects or tasks related to the region as requested

EDUCATION:

 Preferred: BA/BS Degree in Accounting

SKILLS:

 Ability to function/work independently as well as in a team

 Familiarity with US GAAP

 Strong command of Microsoft Office specifically Excel. Experience in EPICOR is a plus

 Ability to solve problems and recommend comprehensive solutions, proven support of peers

 Ability to effectively interface with departments in order to provide effective financial information flow.

 Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.

 Strong customer service skills and abilities.

EXPERIENCE:

 Minimum 4 years’ experience in General Accounting/Finance including Financial Reportingand analysisPhysical Demands:
