Recruiting Coordinator

Conagra Brands is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to add to our Human Resources team. This position reports to the HR Manager and provides day-to-day support to both the Campus and Experienced Recruiting Teams by carrying out essential activities for Talent Acquisition and other HR operational teams as needed. This position is based in our headquarters location in Chicago, IL and will support the team as follows:

  • Screen and schedule applicants for interviews with recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Handle questions and requests via phone, email, support queue, and other channels.
  • Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.
  • Conducts reference and background checks.
  • Maintains records of recruiting activities as required.
  • Manages invoices and payment remittance related to recruiting activities.
  • Ensures new hire profiles for candidates is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates campus recruiting conferences /career fairs on behalf of campus recruitment team.
  • Manage and track inventory for campus recruiting events (Conagra food product, marketing materials, career fair banners and giveaways).
  • Develops process efficiencies through identifying new technology and implementing process changes that will reduce work time and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Oversees the execution of special projects in support of the Talent Acquisition business objectives.

Qualifications

  • A collaborative self-starter, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapid evolving environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including professional phone etiquette.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with common programs like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workflow; excellent organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university
  • A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in recruiting or relevant discipline
  • Preferred experience with information/applicant tracking or recruiting databases
  • Strong interpersonal skills that support interactions and relationship-building with candidates and internal partners.
  • Software skills desired – MS Office suite (including Excel), Outlook, WorkDay
