Job Description:

  • The QA Analyst works under the direction of the Senior QA Analyst and the Test Architect.
  • The QA Analyst analyzes the requirements, writes test conditions, creates and executes manual test cases, and maintains the Requirements Traceability Matrix in ALM.
  • The QA Analyst is responsible for defect retests and participates in End to End and Regression testing.
  • This position ensures the careful and thorough testing of applications, systems and system enhancements for the Customer Touchpoints project. The systems include both the new Oracle suite of applications and interfaces with existing legacy systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior QA Analysts to determine best standards and procedures to be used in the Quality Assurance process.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and procedures related to test script development, testing methodology and documentation.
  • Create test cases following the standards outlined by the Senior QA Analysts.
  • Map requirements and test conditions to the test cases.
  • Work with the Enablement Teams, Scrum Teams to test Legacy interfaces impacted by the Customer Touchpoints project.
  • Work with external payment vendors to ensure payments interfaces work as expected.
  • Work diligently to learn about the new system and functions to support the business on Day 2.
  • Understand test goals and dependencies to ensure risks are effectively tested.
  • Ensure that QA process is adequate, documented and communicated to ensure agreed quality levels for the application.
  • Partner with Business Analysts and Vendors to ensure requirements are met and are accurately tested.

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of personal computer and software testing tools, Including, but not limited to HP Test Tools, , Web Browsers, Java, SQL and M/S Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Cycle.
  • Working knowledge of system testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing principles and methods applicable to mainframe and client server environments.
  • Working knowledge of analytical and problem isolation techniques as they relate to multiple types of information technology systems and their connectivity and related software.
  • Working knowledge of PC and local area network connectivity, including peripheral devices and software compatibility issues.
  • Quick grasps of business and technical concepts
  • Self-motivated and able to embrace change

Preferred Skills

    Highly desirable : Working with payment external vendors.
