Payroll Administrator

We are searching for a Payroll leader to join our Portland location.

Requirements Include:

• 3+ (minimum) years of full, multi-state payroll experience using web-based time keeping/payroll system – including payroll processing and batch review, taxation, researching and ability to calculate final checks, etc.
• The ability to process high volume, multi-state payroll on semi-monthly schedule
• The ability to process complex payroll: hourly, salaried, commissions and many exceptions. MUST have an ability to roll with the exceptions to payroll processes; there are many.
• Experienced in tax laws for various states; if limited must be comfortable and able to research them and organize the data for future reference.
• Complete payroll journal entries and prepare compliance filings and reports
• Manage and reconcile benefit programs, disability, flexible spending accounts, and 401K
• Experience with SOX requirements and annual 3rd party audit requests
• Proficient with HRIS (UltiPro, PeopleSoft, SAP, Ceridian, Kronos, etc.).
