Project Manager I

Talent Table a 21 Tech Subsidiary is looking for a Project Manager I to work at our client’s site in Kalispell, MT . This is a 6 month contract. You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, No H1B .

Scrum Master or Agile PM:

Candidate to be located out of Kalispell, MT preferred. However, can sit out of Overland Park, KS or Atlanta, GA aon sites.

Requirements

• Must have 5 years in Project management with expert knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts.
• Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
• Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
• Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical team to ensure deliverables are met.
• May work with some direction
• Varied Project level work as assigned by the Operations Management Team.
• Work with outside vendors to obtain support for projects.
• Help pilot new procedures/functions as changes occur within NFS and/or the NFIP.
• Be able to work within the team environment and cross department lines to complete projects.
• Create project plan and work with necessary entities to define project requirements and appropriate processing systems.
• Deliver clear and precise communications to all stake holders on a consistent basis regarding project plan, challenges and progress.
• Recommend business process changes/technology enhancements based on new NFIP/NFS requirements as identified through project work.
• Establish necessary project demos/status updates for the Operations team throughout the project lifecycle

Job Related Experience:

• 5 years in Project management with expert knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• 2 years minimum experience in an Operations environment

• Preferred Understanding of the processes surrounding an insurance policy lifecycle including, but not limited to underwriting and claims processing

• Exposure to working with a technology team to create business solutions using technology

Skills and Abilities:

• High level knowledge of flood insurance or equitable insurance products.

• High skill level with programs such as MS Word, Excel, Access.

• Effective written and verbal communication

• Ability to create and implement a project through Agile.

• Creativity when identifying solutions to support project implementation

• Capability of working with multiple teams

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines and possibly remote.

• Understanding of project implications when creating the project plan to ensure results maintain streamlined business processes and efficiencies

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s of Science in or equivalent preferred. Typically requires 7 years systems, analysis, project development..
