General Summary

This position is responsible for developing application solutions to support the business requirements. They are required to have proficiency and knowledge in related applications. Application developers will work with senior colleagues to get an understanding of the requirements, test code and make changes based on comments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for application development using various software technologies Work as part of a multi-disciplinary delivery team performing all aspects of software engineering as needed including quality assurance, requirements gathering and implementation specializing in development activities. Integrates technical components into respective working applications Participates in technical design and review Resolves issues and makes recommendations for improvements and enhancements
• Communicates with members of the IT team on a regular basis and may serve as point of contact Responsible for reviewing code Creates and maintains documents as a part of the solution delivery process Ensures that business standards are met

Qualifications

Education (degree / diploma)

• BS in computer science or related field or corresponding experience

Experience

• 5+ years of application development experience

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

• MS Technologies: ASP.net, C#, IIS, C++, HTML, JavaScript, XML
• Database Technologies: MS SQL Server • Cloud: Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience a plus
• Continuous Integration and XSLT, XML and Java Script
• Others: Web Services, SOAP, SAML, ADFS

Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training)

• Must possess a pragmatic and agile mindset and be a self-starter as well as a team player
