Job Description: Project Manager

Summary

The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short-term project which have a beginning, an end and specified deliverables.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Project Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

Key Responsibilities:
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project Execute the project according to the project plan Develop forms and records to document project activities Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards Coordinate with other companies and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of products and features during park construction. Complete and submit paperwork to the municipalities for permits, occupancy, zoning, etc. Oversee and resolve service requests from existing parks. Quickly and efficiently resolve conflicts and problems as they arise.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in related field (preferred but not required) or 2+ years of related experience.

Proficiency in the use of computers for:
Word processing Simple accounting Spreadsheets E-mail Internet

Experience

Project Management and Construction experience a must.

Working Conditions

Project Managers usually work in an office environment but the purpose of the project may sometimes take them to non-standard workplaces and will require some physical Labor . Project Managers work a standard work week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet project milestones. US Passport is required. Able to lift 25 lbs.
