Job Description:
Statement of Purpose

The Programmer / Analyst is responsible for performing

analysis, modification, and daily support of the Oracle

E-Business Suite and other non-Oracle applications that

is of a high level of complexity and business impact

under minimal supervision. This position will work

closely with Information Technology and business

personnel to understand business requirements and ensure

that developed and integrated 3rd party applications

properly function to meet business needs across the

organization. The Programmer Analyst will consult with

members of the business community at all levels to

identify current operation procedures, clarify program

objectives, interpret and evaluate business requirements

and provide effective, efficient and innovative system

and programming solutions in a fast paced team oriented

environment. Collaborate with business users, affiliated

organizations and vendors on technical EDI issues and

initiatives

Job Requirements:
Education

*

B.S. degree in Computer Science; or equivalent

relevant experience

*

Oracle certified (desired)

*

An equivalent combination of education and

experience is also acceptable.

Training and Specialized Knowledge

*

Knowledge Oracle E-Business Suite

*

Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL

*

Knowledge XML Gateway,Oracle BPEL and adapters,

Email Notifications, BAM, BPM, B2B, SOA EM ,SOA

Admin Console and J-developer

*

Knowledge of EDI standards and methodologies

*

Working knowledge Java, J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP,

Tag Libraries, JMS, Web Services, WSDL, XML, XSL.

JDeveloper

Experience

*

Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of

experience in IT.

*

5+ years work experience on SOA tools Oracle 10/11g

SOA suite, JDeveloper, Oracle BPM, B2B, BPEL, Web

Services, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), IBM MQ and

JMS technologies.

*

5+ years Oracle SQL/PL

*

Minimum 3 years of experience in using R12 tools

(ADF, Java, BI, Forms, Reports, etc)

*

Strong SQL, Oracle RDBMS, Unix, Shell Scripting and

PL/SQL skills

*

Strong knowledge of underlying Oracle tables and

integration points

*

Excellent verbal and written communication

Travel

*

Ability to work with the business partner to gather

and document technical and functional specs as well

as troubleshoot production issues.

*

Work with the functional team to research and

identify the best technical solution to support the

most efficient business processes.

*

Identify and define EDI business requirements and

specifications

*

Assist Agencies and Trading Partners with EDI

related questions

*

Set-up, configure and maintain business partner

integration with Oracle B2B and SOA suite

*

Monitor B2B, BPEL and XML Gateway daily processes

for different EDI transactons including

850,860,855,810,856 and 846

*

Troubleshoot and resolve technical EDI issues

*

Develop and maintain procedures for monitoring EDI

transactions

*

Collaborate with end users and third party

organizations on EDI technical issues

*

Identify and recommend EDI process improvements

*

Assist E-commerce operations and Acouunting

department with EDI issues

*

Create and maintain appropriate documentation
