Program Manager Senior (Technical)

Job Description:POSITION SUMMARY :
CACI is looking for an experienced Project Lead with strong leadership skills and project facilitation experience to work on a key program in Chantilly, VA. CACI supports the RCAS program and is looking for an experienced resource to lead Surge efforts of IT implementations work for Military Construction (MILCON), supporting military organizations such as ARNG, USAR, and the Army Corps of Engineers. In this position, the individual will assist with oversight of multiple installation teams and engineers who install information technology infrastructure in facilities across the United States and territories. This individual will interface with clients and must maintain a great working relationships with all stakeholders. This position assists with ensuring that all work activities are performed in a timely and cost effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance.

Functional Responsibility: Responsible for supporting delivery of a variety of IT installation projects including voice and data infrastructure cabling, including inside and outside plant. Basic RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Removing all impediments to project installation activities, and support teams when they encounter issues in the field
  • Work on proposal and pricing efforts, minimizing risk exposure to the company
  • Participating in daily/weekly status meetings of all active installation activities
  • Enforcing program and company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining relevant metrics to track team cost and technical performance
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing levels for assigned projects or tasks
  • Providing appropriate guidance to engineers, analysts, and support personnel.
  • Scheduling and allocating work and resolving problems to meet technical performance and financial objectives
  • Escalate issues early to the program manager
  • Ensuring product quality and timeliness of efforts

Minimum required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen, with or eligible for a Government security clearance

College degree (B.S.; M.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in network voice and data network installation

Professional Experience: twelve+ years related technical experience, with at least five years managing multiple, small teams

Experience working with the ARNG
