Job Description:

Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES :

Customer is seeking a Program Manager to work with the Customer to identify new cyber security technologies and assess their technical and performance characteristics. Support sponsor program activities including identification of issues which impede the Customer’s desire to modernize, advance and transform its security practices. In addition, the Program Manager will support the Customer’s program in developing and executing Digital Landscape studies of the state-of-the-art and state-of-practice of interest to the Sponsor.

Required Qualifications :

A minimum of fifteen years demonstrated on-the-job experience performing the full range of program and project management activities, including oral and written communications and formal programmatic documentation. 2. A minimum of ten years demonstrated on-the-job experience managing software and data processing teams that provide the following services: object oriented design; database systems modeling, design, implementation, hosting and O&M (e.g., Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, MySQL, Objectivity, HADOOP, Netezza); and Web/Internet architecture modeling, design, implementation, hosting, and O&M (e.g., J2EE, HTML, JMQ, REST, RUBY, RAILS, XML). 3. A minimum of five years demonstrated on-the-job experience planning, designing, procuring, implementing, and maintaining multiple simultaneous projects of large complexity and massive scales such as: “Big-Data” clouds, supercomputing and/or GRID projects (e.g., LexusNexus, Netezza, NoSQL, Hadoop, TeraData, Vertica, GreenPlum), and large-scale multi-tiered storage systems and environments (e.g., EMC, Hitachi, Quantum, StorNext, Copan, Netezza, Violin Systems, FusionIO, RamSAN, SolidDB). 4. A minimum of six years demonstrated on-the-job experience performing program management tasks related to security solutions including: authorization, authentication, encryption, key management, and certification and accreditation (C&A).

The clearance level required is Active TS/SCI clearance

Desired Qualifications :

Demonstrated on-the-job experience with security policy (technical, personnel, and facilities), legal requirements, and consulting and recommending potential cyber security solutions to clients. 2. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with cloud-based storage technologies, to include Amazon Web Services Elastic Cloud Computing (AWS EC2) environments. 3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience, familiarity, and adroitness developing agile project schedules. 4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with requirements generation and management including knowledge elicitation from technical and non-technical staff. 5. Demonstrated on-the-job experience in team leadership roles, including systems integration, resource management, work prioritization, and activities coordination. 7. Demonstrated on-the-job experience assessing risks associated with systems/networks and their environments. 8. Demonstrated on-the-job experience securing systems according to the Sponsor’s information security standards and industry best practices including file system encryption. 9. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with big data analytics systems including ingestion, ETL, tagging, processing, analytics, and visualization of unstructured data. 10. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with definition and implementation of standards for metadata including provenance, pedigree, lineage, tethering, and data state. 11. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with budgeting, financial tracking, contract management, staffing, and personnel management.
