Production Contoller – IAH

The Production Controller reports to the Manager of Aircraft Records, with a matrixed reporting line to the Base Maintenance Manager. This position is responsible
for assembling the work package, issuing work cards, data input into the electronic maintenance tracking system (maintaining data integrity), and auditing the completed work package.

Responsibilities:
Prepares work packet(s) from planning and assembles the work package(s) to be issue to Maintenance personnel.

Reviews the following night(s) work tasks related to parts and tools for verification and ensures that all needed items are on-hand or ordered for a timely arrival.

Coordinates with the Maintenance Base Management, Quality Control and Maintenance Planning on potential issues related to parts and tooling to prevent AOGs related to schedule Maintenance.

Enters non-routine work cards into Spirit electronic technical system (SETS) to maintain data integrity as needed.

Audits work package for accurateness and completeness and that all work cards are properly accounted for and entered into SETS.

Closes work order in SETS to ensure proper tracking of time controlled items.

Forwards the original work packages to Aircraft Records Department (HDQ).

Performs other duties as assigned by the DQC.

tracking of time controlled items.

Required skills/experience:

Detail Oriented and Process Oriented.

Basic computer skills & data entry.

Must have a valid driver’s license required.

High School diploma or GED required.

Must be flexible to work any given shift.

Airline industry experience a plus.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities/duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., IROP, emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.)
