You are an experienced engineer. You have a bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline and more than five years of experience designing and developing industrial products and equipment. Alongside that, you have manufacturing experience and preferred experience with/knowledge of: systems engineering and requirements management; component sizing and selection, bioengineering; chemisty; various manufacturing and assembly methods (injection molding, blown films, sheet metal, coatings, heat sealing); ISO-9000, GMP and GLP; and 3D printing.

You have comprehensive knowledge of applicable software. You are proficient with SolidWorks/3D CAD software, as well as with essential Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project, Visio). You have launched products. You are innovative, creative and like to build. More than that, you have successfully launched new products in the past. You have product development experience in manufacturing and in regulated applications (e.g. medical devices, food hygiene, etc.). You are qualified in product requirement documents, design for manufacturing, design for six sigma, design for reliability and design for sustainability.

You are detail oriented. You have strong organizational skills and can work on multiple projects concurrently. You can do all of this while still keeping your ducks in a row and not missing details. Multiple moving parts and pieces (and projects) do not stress you out.

  • Interface with the R&D teams, existing manufacturing sites, existing vendors and potential new vendors to support existing products and/or develop and launch new products.
  • Develop a scope and plan for a new project, as well as conduct resource and cost analysis.
