The Sr. PL/SQL Developer will:

• Perform complex analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents.
• Resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of PL/SQL experience
• Proficient database design skills
• Proficient expertise in Oracle Database 11g, performance tuning, OLTP, PL/SQL and T-SQL programming, Data Warehouse, Reporting and Shell Scripting
• Proficient PL/SQL programming, writing store procedures
• Proficient experience with Database Tuning and Optimization, Normalization
• Proficient experience working with Tables, Constraints, Indexes, Triggers, Cursors, Ref Cursors, anonymous blocks, directories, sequences, and synonyms
• Proficient experience with Tuning of complex SQL queries using EXPLAIN PLAN, Hints
• Proficient experience with Used Materialized Views, Packages and Dynamic SQL
• Proficient experience creating Unix Shell Scripts for scheduling jobs in Unix/Linux, regular backups, instance start/shutdown and migrating data into tables
• Proficient on Object Oriented Programming (OOP) design concepts
• Proficient understanding of data security, communication, and exchange best practices
• Proficient experience working with programming paradigms, such as Agile/Test Driven Development
• Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)

Optional Skills:

• Familiarity with best practices to handle Production Environment
