Part Time Web Copywriter – Temporary Position

Looking for a creative writing gig for the summer in a fun, open-office environment right on Burlington’s Church Street Marketplace? Burlington Bytes, a web development and marketing firm is seeking part-time copywriters to assist us with a large, e-commerce website build. This is a temporary job running from June through August with the potential to turning into a full-time position for candidates possessing the right skill sets and motivation.This role is great for college students and for anyone with writing chops looking to make some extra cash for the summer. The web copywriter will report to the Production Manager and SEO Lead and will be responsible for:

• Writing and editing search-engine-optimized product descriptions for a local shoe and clothing outfitter
• Generating compelling titles & calls to action
• Brainstorming with team to craft messaging for site stories
• Collaborating with production team for QA testing initiatives
• Adding, editing, and organizing products, attributes, and categories within the Magento e-commerce platform

No Magento experience is required! We will provide instruction on how to work with this platform.
