Position: Order Management Specialist

Location: Orlando, FL

Status: Contract to Direct Hire

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Up to 1 year

NES Global Talent is looking for a qualified Order Management Specialist with a background in the Manufacturing and Production field to work for one of the leading OEM companies in the industry here in Central Florida. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review quotes and or proposals to provide feedback on implementation issues, along with interpreting customer contract and purchase orders to define all activities to meet requirements.
  • Generate specific requirements and coordinate administration as required
  • Coordinate and create all defined material quotes and orders and ensure quotes and orders are processed
  • Expedite and prioritize new parts and repair orders as required to meet planned demands as well as emergencies
  • Track delivery statuses.
  • Actively monitor material demands in the areas of fulfillment, deliveries and costs, track performance against targets
  • Support the development and improvement of processes and procedures and document process descriptions defining specific steps/actions necessary to complete daily functions;
  • There may be limited overnight travel and after hour support required.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing techniques and capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent related work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of database/project management/spreadsheet/word and processing software. As well as utilization of electronic mail, graphics, technical diagrams, and flowcharts.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $24.00 /hour
