Oracle Developer

We are seeking a Oracle Developer for a very important client.

Position Summary:

Develop database solutions to support the Quantitative Research group within Strategic Advisors. If you have a passion for working with data, building innovative solutions, optimizing performance and learning the domain, this might be the right opportunity for you !

The Purpose of Your Role

The Senior Database developer will be part of a global database development team that focuses on building applications and supporting the data needs of the quantitative research team. You will have to develop a good understanding of the data, our products and applications. You will be responsible for building scalable and innovative solutions.

Requirement:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

The Expertise Were Looking For

-At least 5 years of experience in developing Oracle SQL & PL/SQL solutions

-Excellent data analysis and debugging skills

-BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience

-Exposure to R, Informatica, data quality tools, scripting languages, Agile development methodology and utPLSQL will be a plus

The Skills You Bring

-You are an expert in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL and have a good understanding of performance tuning

-You enjoy analyzing data, identify gaps, issues, patterns and trends

-You can independently analyze application dependencies and conduct impact assessment of changes

-You have a good understanding of database design concepts – Transactional / Data mart / Data warehouse etc.
