Onboarding Specialist

What is the opportunity?

As an Onboarding Specialist with RBC Wealth Management, you will provide support inside and outside the organization for Operations conversions activities. You will provide a high level of project documentation, process design, Operations knowledge, technical expertise, and problem solving unique to processing conversions. You will act as a resource for less-experienced personnel within the department and within Operations. You will participate in correspondent meetings and presentations as required; represent Operations conversions needs/impacts in project meetings, discussions, and design. Incumbents will work under minimal supervision and follow through on work objectives independently.

What will you do?

Act as support on Operations conversions activities for assigned retail or correspondent conversions to ensure completion in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

Create documentation and complete processes required to support conversion assignments.

Participate in the design, programming, and testing of work process changes.

Develop procedures and/or flow charts to support department processes.

Recommend changes to standardize processes and procedures and/or reduce risk.

Establish and maintain credible, professional relationships with internal business lines and correspondent firms.

Provide onsite training and support to branch office personnel as needed (see travel requirements below).

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of job-related experience.

Up to 25% travel is required; must be able to travel to local branch locations approximately 6-7 times per year or as needed. Most instances require training support for 1 full week at a time.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.

Effective problem identification and resolution skills with demonstrated organization skills and a strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with others in a team environment.

Nice-to-have

Experience in financial services, information systems, customer service, finance or accounting.

Strong verbal and oral communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree or higher.
