.NET Web Developer

We are seeking a .NET developer responsible for building .NET applications using up-to-date ASP.NET Core, MVC and Entity Framework, MS-SQL. There is heavy emphasis on back-end development with this position. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain these layers of our applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Integrate data storage solutions
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core and up-to-date Entity Framework
• Proficient in C#, Linq, and Razor, with a good knowledge of the ecosystem
• Proficient with Visual Studio web publishing
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with popular web application frameworks, such as Kendo/Telerik MVC
• Familiarity with WPF/XAML
• Experience with CSS/HTML, and JavaScript and JS libraries
• Familiarity with Windows Installers
• Skilled at writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• Familiarity with Microsoft Identity
• Familiarity with Inversion of Control
• Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of GIT (or similar) code versioning tool
• Understanding of IIS and other server management technologies
• Understanding of Security Best Practices
• Experience with HubSpot and older MS technologies
• General AWS experience
