National Promotions Marketing Coordinator

Coordinate and perform ongoing tasks to support centralized gifts and promotions. Identify opportunities to enhance gift selection & ordering process in order to reduce expense through bulk ordering and standardization.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

:

Hold the ability to support centralized gifts from start to finish with guidance from Manager on monthly strategy, including:

Work with Sourcing and Ariba to ensure proper sourcing of gifts and products using the bid process.

Be able to select high perceived valued gifts while reducing expenses.

Create order and tracking templates.

Manage gift tracking between all parties.

Work with the Pod and Property partners in all steps of the process.

Work with vendors on gift selection, ordering, creative assets and approval and gift tracking.

Support Manager with tasks related to promotions, including:
Create Event Announcements, Buzz Planners and winner packets.

Create and develop rules and regulations for promotions and work with the Pod and Property partners to ensure accurate details and work with the Legal team for review and approval.

Maintain National Promotions calendar.

Submit requests in E1.

Work with Ariba for any sourcing needs.

Create and develop rules and regulations for Social Media Sweepstakes and work with the Social Media team for review and approval.

Ensures tasks are consistently well-structured, accurate and easy to understand for all parties.

Draft value proposition and compelling copy as well as review and provide critical feedback on collateral.

Track assigned tasks to ensure work is progressing and timelines are met.

Work with Advantage Promotional Systems (APS) software team in the requesting, development, and testing of APS programs.

Develop and maintain basic relationships with both internal and external vendors essential to centralized gifts and promotions, including managing contracts with 3

rd

party vendors.

Understanding the business acumen necessary to troubleshoot and solve problems with guidance from Manager.

This position will carry a great deal of influence over the guest experience and product presented.

Success in this role will be identified by the ability to maintain centralized gifts and supporting the Manager on tasks related to promotions with full understanding and ease of execution for the Pod and Property partners and vendors.

Successful candidates are vocal with ideas and also not afraid to present challenges to their Manager, senior team, and their peer set. The candidate who will be successful is a good bridge builder and must successfully be able to present a vision and create advocates.

This position will work closely with Pod team, National Communications Manager, Sourcing, and Property partners.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Work with National Promotions Manager to ensure collaboration and management of centralized gifts and promotions.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, team building and problem solving skills are required.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize activities

Must possess a friendly attitude and enjoy interacting with internal and external customers.

Must be flexible to work long hours when necessary.

Willingness to work hard to learn from top marketers

Must present a well-groomed appearance that is business appropriate.

Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

WORK ENVIRONMENT

:

Must be able to work in areas containing dust, second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
