Loss Recovery Representative

We’re currently looking for a Loss Recovery Representative to join our team in Irving, TX .

This role will be responsible for being knowledgeable of laws that regulate the automotive collection industry; such as, FDCPA, GLB, FCRA, FACTA, Federal Bankruptcy Laws, IRS 1099-C Regulations, federal and state repossession and collection laws.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to thoroughly analyze complex legal documents, account conditions, and reach independent decisions in selecting the best course of action to protect NMAC’s interests.
  • Mastery of inbound/outbound call activities and queue management, possess strong negotiation, excellent communication, planning, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to investigate and resolve complex problems and issues.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume production environment.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, including manual calculation of delinquency and charge-off account balances.
  • Must be able to easily adapt to change, work independently or in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of Collections experience preferably in an automotive finance industry.
  • Prior bankruptcy, litigation and collections experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the tasks, policies and procedures of NMAC’s Customer Service Department, Lease Customer Network Department, Front-End Collections, and/or Regional Collections preferred.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office computer systems.
  • High School Diploma required
