About the Role :

You will provide programming and analysis to new and existing Fiserv clients during implementations and conversions to ensure accurate and timely implementations and data conversion and to drive overall client satisfaction. This role is important to Fiserv as Clients expect high quality assistance with all interactions with Fiserv, from the start of a project to then end of a relationship with us. You will love this job as you will be involved with all areas of the Bank, not just a specific application or solution. You will bring your experience to the team to be a resource for other team members. You will have the ability to work independently, with the support of a team that is able to provide guidance and assistance. Essential Job Responsibilities :

Linux Systems Administration (RedHat/CentOS)

Ability to Script (bash, python, perl)

Install, maintain and upgrade of Linux servers

Maintain and update documentation on the operating environment’s configuration

Develop, test, implement and troubleshoot scripts for automation, reporting and job execution

Diagnose problems in the operating environment and support problem resolution

Ability to track down and diagnose root causes of network, system, user-level issues

Created and modify reports in splunk to capture and alert on certain criteria

Participate in an on-call rotation and incident support as required

Administer Citrix Xenserver VM pools

Required Qualifications:

Education :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent.

Job Related Experience :

• 8+ years of IT experience
• 5+ years of Linux systems administration experience
• Experience with Puppet for automation
• Experience with SAN configuration and Hardware RAID
• Experience with Apache configuration
• Experience with Splunk queries and reporting
• Experience with setup and troubleshooting VPNs a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries
• Must be able to make decisions and solve problems that are general in nature and for which there are precedents.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with good follow-up skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
• Works well in an environment with firm deadlines and high volume; results oriented
• Ability to multi-task and adjust schedules to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Weekend and off hours work and availability is required
