Librarian

Overview:
Zoot provides comprehensive, robust, and flexible credit decisioning, loan origination, and credit risk management solutions to fit our clients’ unique initiatives. We improve performance for innovative financial institutions through a reliable, secure, and scalable ASP environment, accounting for hundreds of millions of credit transactions each year.

The librarian job function would be responsible for developing, cataloging and classifying all Zoot internal documentation and services utilizing library systems and software. Work closely with internal stakeholders on cataloging and classification. Support end users on documentation and services classification, locations and research requests.

Job Functions:
Develop, catalog and classify all internal enterprise documentation.

Catalog and classify all micro services for core software.

Organize all internal documentation for navigational ease.

Utilize existing applications for library.

Work closely with the internal stakeholders to design library.

Provide training about information resources and help users evaluate search results and reference materials

Organize library materials so they are easy to find, and maintain collections.

Continuous review of library structure for efficiency gains.

Assist in library/internal tool budget

Support end users on documentation classification, locations and research requests.

Identify areas of improvements

Provide end-user training

Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience/knowledge of ITIL

Working knowledge of most Atlassian products

A passion for organization.

Commitment to enriching the Library patron experience by providing friendly and helpful customer service.

Knowledge of IT systems.

Experience with development methodologies.

Experience managing projects from requirements gathering to implementation.

Ability to analyze and organize data.

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware related issues.

Education, Training, and Experience Requirements:
Degree in Library Science or a combination of education and experience preferred.

Experience working with databases, Linux/Unix, and network analysis is preferred.
